Ceyhan Biliciler Anatolian Hotel Management Vocational High School

Ceyhan Biliciler Anatolian Hotel Management Vocational High School has been established in 1989, as a Hotel Management and Tourism Vocational High School under Ceyhan Commercial High School. It has achieved the Anatolian Vocational High School status in 1992 and its renamed as Ceyhan Anatolian Hotel Management and Tourism Vocational High School.

Arif and Hasan Bilici, elders of the charitable Bilici family of Ceyhan, has constructed a new building for the school, which moved to its new building in 1998. Thus, the school’s name was changed to Ceyhan Biliciler Anatolian Hotel Management Vocational High School. The school building comprises of 10 classrooms, 1 principal’s room, 2 vice principal’s rooms, 1 teachers’ room, 1 officer’s room, 1 sports lounge, 1 counseling service room, 1 computer lab, 1 service workshop, 1 kitchen workshop, 3 hotel rooms, 1 large saloon, 1 library/science lab, 1 archive room and 1 storage room. The 3-storey building on the Treasury land, with an area of 2,400 sqm as stated in the title deed with Parcel Nr.2459, is located in a 17,000-sqm garden. The garden includes 1 soccer field, 1 basketball court, 1 volleyball court, 1 canteen, 1 fountain and 1 information lodge. The school is located 5 km to Ceyhan, within the town of B.Mangıt, on the Özdemir Sabancı Boulevard near the Regional Traffic Headquarters.

The school has a staffing norm of 1 principal, 1 senior vice principal, 2 vice principals, 2 chiefs, 1 counselor, 15 teachers and 1 janitor. The school currently employs 1 principal, 1 senior vice principal, 2 vice principals, 1 counselor, 15 permanent teachers, 5 contract teachers and 1 assistant janitor. A total of 257 students are currently educated in 10 sections, including three 9th grade, three 10th grade, two 11th grade and two 12th grade classes. The school has 542 graduates in total, as of the end of 2009-2010 school year, and accepts students via the MNE Secondary Education Exam and a following interview. English is taught as the primary foreign language. The secondary foreign language is German.

Arif-Hasan Bilici Elementary School

The Arif-Hasan Bilici Elementary School was founded by the Biliciler Family, one of the established families in Ceyhan, and started its educational activities on February 12th, 2007, under the Ministry of National Education.

The school was named after Arif and Hasan Bilici, who have placed great effort in the establishment of the school. The Ministry of National Education has decided to name the school after the Bilici brothers, awarding their high contribution.
